GMAT Focus Edition – all you need to know

As we all know that the GMAC has come up with a new format – the GMAT Focus Edition. In this video, we will talk about the different aspects of the test – the test structure and scoring, and how those are different from the earlier version.

In a nutshell, things have become shorter and hence a tad comfortable. With Geometry and Sentence Correction out of the way, one has fewer things to study. However, inclusion of the Integrated Reasoning in the main score has kind of balanced things out.

Not only that, one can now change the answers to three questions in each section, even though it is still a question-adaptive test. However, I feel that one should not waste time thinking much about this. After all, during a test, how do you decide that you want to change the answer to “these three” questions, without actually reviewing the whole thing? – obviously this would lead to unnecessary time wastage. The first answer, the one obtained after proper reasoning, should be the one that you stick with.
